Dear delegates of the UEMS – ORL section, dear friends,
Welcome to Bratislava, a city where history and modern vibrancy blend seamlessly!
Bordering Austria and Hungary, it is the only national capital in the world to border two other sovereign states. The city has a multicultural heritage, has been influenced by people of many nations and religions, including Austrians, Bulgarians, Croats, Czechs, Germans, Hungarians, Jews and Slovaks. Historically it was the administrative centre of the country, the seat of the king, the archbishop, the parliament as well as the coronation city for Hungarian kings and queens.
Since 1989, Bratislava has flourished into a dynamic destination, featuring a renovated historic core, a majestic castle with a baroque garden, and a lively Danube waterfront leading to the emerging high-rise district.
Discover the charm of historic cobbled streets of the old town, climb the tower of St. Michael's gate for a view, or simply enjoy the day exploring the diversity and unique charm of this Little Big City.

How to get from Most SNP (Bratislava centrum) to Sheraton Hotel Bratislava?
1. Walking (about 15-20min)
From Most SNP, walk along the Danube River heading east (towards the Eurovea shopping center). Then continue walking past the shopping center along the promenade. Sheraton Hotel is located next to the Eurovea shopping center, right by the river.
2. By Public Transport
From Most SNP, you can take Tram 4 or Bus 29 towards "Šafárikovo námestie". Get off at the "Šafarikovo námestie" stop. The Sheraton Hotel is about a 5-minute walk from there, right next to the Eurovea shopping center.
3. By Taxi
